KKNB : Despite a great start in the AFC Cup, Mohun Bagan is now in a bad situation, today they will play against Odisha FC in Yuva Bharati.The Mohun Bagan camp, however, is reluctant to go for such complicated figures. Their primary task is to win the remaining two matches. Just as numbers are a concern, Mohun Bagan's second concern is injuries. Ashiq Kurunian, Anwar Ali were in that list. Names of Manveer Singh, Dimitri Petratos also added recently. Manbir was in the national team. That's where the injury is. Petratos was injured in practice.

KKNB : The first batch of FIFA-AIFF Academy consists of 50 under-14 footballers. 15 of them are from Odisha. They will be trained in this academy for the next two years. According to the MOU with the academy, the Odisha government will provide financial assistance for the board, education and training of all the footballers.
FIFA will provide technical support and training. FIFA has already proposed Spain's Sergi Amecua Fontrodona.

KKNB : The All India Football Federation (AIFF) and Government of Odisha, on Tuesday, in the presence of Mr Arsène Wenger, FIFA’s Chief of Global Football Development, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to set up the AIFF-FIFA Talent Academy at the Odisha Football Academy in Bhubaneswar.
The MoU between the two was signed by the AIFF President Mr. Kalyan Chaubey and Mr. R Vineel Krishna, Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Department of Sports and Youth Services, Government of Odisha. Mr. Tushar Kanti Behera, Sports Minister of Odisha was present.
In the ceremony, Mr Chaubey said, "I thank the Government of Odisha and FIFA President for his support to Indian Football in every possible way. The result of that is the presence of the legendary Mr. Arsène Wenger today in India.
"His guidance, leadership, technical plan and strategy will help India dream. Let’s take a small step and qualify for the FIFA U-17 World Cup on merit, and soon the senior FIFA World Cup. I have high expectations through the AIFF-FIFA Talent Academy that we will get our best U-17 team in the coming three years," Mr. Chaubey added.

*Blue Tigers' test of consistency on Kalinga green turf*

KKNB : Bhubaneswar is in total football mode at the moment. Passing by the Kalinga Stadium for their gym session, the Blue Tigers were elated to see a huge queue of people waiting to buy tickets at the box office. The Intercontinental Cup triumph in June, which was India's first international tournament in the Odisha capital, has ignited a footballing fire in an already sports-crazy city. Tickets are now officially sold out for Tuesday's match against Qatar.
India are unbeaten at home this year, but the biggest test is set to come on November 21, when Igor Stimac's men take on Asian champions Qatar in their second match of the FIFA World Cup 2026 and AFC Asian Cup 2027 Preliminary Joint Qualification Round 2 at 19:00 IST.
Off to a flying start four days ago with three points against Kuwait in Group A, India will now count on home support in a very familiar location to tackle the test from the 61-ranked Qatari side. The match will be telecast on Sports18, Sports18 (1 )and Sports18( 3) and streamed on JioCinema.

बीजेपी-बीजेडी के बीच गठबंधन तय! जानें सीट शेयरिंग का फॉर्मूला

लोकसभा चुनाव को लेकर सत्तारूढ़ बीजेपी और विपक्षी दलों का गठबंधन “इंडिया” खुद को मजबूत करने में जुटे हैं। हालांकि एकजुटता की बात कर रहे विपक्षी दलों के गठबंधन को लगभग कई राज्यों में झटका लगा है। वहीं बीजेपी की अगुवाई वाले एनडीए का कुनबा बढ़ता ही जा रहा है। इस बीच चर्चा है कि ओडिशा में भी बीजेपी और मुख्यमंत्री नवीन पटनायक की पार्टी बीजू जनता दल के बीच गठबंधन होना लगभग फाइनल माना जा रहा है।
बुधवार को ओडिशा इकाई के भाजपा नेताओं ने अमित शाह और जेपी नड्डा के साथ दिल्ली में मुलाकात की। दिल्ली में भाजपा केंद्रीय नेतृत्व के साथ ओडिशा कोर कमेटी की बैठक हुई। भाजपा के वरिष्ठ नेता जुएल ओरांव ने बताया कि इसमें राज्य की सभी 21 लोकसभा सीटों के साथ-साथ राज्य की सभी विधानसभा सीटों पर चर्चा हुई। जब उनसे राज्य में बीजेडी और भाजपा के गठबंधन के बारे में पूछा गया तो उन्होंने यह कहते हुए बचने की कोशिश की कि इस बारे में पार्टी का शीर्ष नेतृत्व ही फैसला करेगा। वहीं, इसी दिन बीजेडी नेताओं ने सीएम नवीन पटनायक के आवास पर बैठक की।
सीट शेयरिंग पर दोनों दलों में बात लगभग तय
रिपोर्टों में कहा जा रहा है कि सीट शेयरिंग को लेकर दोनों दलों में बातचीत लगभग पूरी हो गई है। अब बस अंतिम मुहर लगना बाकी है। जानकारी के मुताबिक, BJD राज्य की 13 से 14 पर लोकसभा चुनाव लड़ सकती है। वहीं, बीजेपी को 6 से 7 सीटों पर लोकसभा चुनाव लड़ सकती है। माना जा रहा है कि अगर सब कुछ ठीक रहा तो राज्य की 147 विधानसभा सीटों पर भी दोनों पार्टियां चुनाव लड़ेगी। जानकारी के मुताबिक, ओडिशा में बीजेडी 95 से 100 सीटों पर चुनाव लड़ेगी। वहीं, बीजेपी 46 से 52 सीटों पर चुनाव लड़ेगी। अगले एक-दो दिनों में बीजेपी- बीजेडी के बीच गठबंधन को लेकर औपचारिक ऐलान हो सकता है।
ऐसा हो सकता है सीट शेयरिंग का फॉर्मूला
बता दें कि ओडिशा में 21 लोकसभा सीटें हैं। वर्तमान में बीजद के पास 12 भाजपा के पास आठ और कांग्रेस के खाते में एक सीट है। गठबंधन की स्थिति में भाजपा पांच-छह सीटें ज्यादा चाहेगी और बदले में विधानसभा में कुछ ज्यादा सीटें दे सकती है। बताते हैं कि फिलहाल भाजपा लोकसभा की 14 सीटें चाहती है और बीजद को सात सीटें देना चाहती है।बदले में विधानसभा चुनाव के दौरान बीजद को 95-97 सीटें देने का प्रस्ताव है। ऐसे में भाजपा के पास 50-52 सीटें बचेंगी। बीजद ज्यादा हिस्सेदारी चाहता है क्योंकि वर्तमान में दोनों सदनों में उसकी संख्या इससे अधिक है। बताते हैं कि बीजद 102 से ज्यादा विधानसभा सीटें चाहता है।
क्या 15 साल बाद फिर हाथ मिलाने वाले हैं दोनों दल
पीएम मोदी ने हाल ही में अपने ओडिशा दौरे के दौरान कुछ ऐसे संकेत दिए जिससे यह लगने लगा है कि 15 साल बाद एक बार फिर दोनों दल हाथ मिलाने वाले हैं। प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी मंगलवार को ओडिशा में थे। यहां उन्होंने जाजपुर में 19,600 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक की विकास परियोजनाओं का लोकार्पण और शिलान्यास किया। माना जा रहा था कि नवीन पटनायक पीएम से नाराजगी जाहिर कर सकते हैं, क्योंकि बीते दिनों बीजेडी के चार विधायक पार्टी छोड़कर बीजेपी में शामिल हुए हैं, लेकिन ऐसा नहीं हुआ। इसके इतर एक बार फिर पीएम मोदी और नवीन पटनायक ने एक-दूसरे की तारीफ की। दोनों ने एक- दूसरे के काम की सराहना की। इससे पहले भी पीएम जब ओडिशा आए थे तो उन्होंने भरे मंच से रैली में नवीन पटनायक को मित्र बताया था और दोनों गर्मजोशी से मिले थे।
वैसे पीएम जब विपक्ष शासित राज्य में जाते हैं तो सीएम के सामने भी तंज कसने में संकोच नहीं करते। ओडिशा से पहले तेलंगाना में उन्होंने ऐसे ही चुटकी ली थी। लेकिन, यहां अलग गर्मजोशी दिखी। ऐसे में अटकलें लगाई जा रही है कि भाजपा और नवीन बाबू की पार्टी बीजेडी के बीच कुछ पक रहा है।
